The Wigley Group is recruiting a Receptionist / Administrator to support the smooth day-to-day running of Stockton House and provide general administrative support across the business. The role includes front-of-house duties, coordinating office services, and completing routine administrative tasks. The successful candidate will work closely with the Office Manager to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Office Manager with the smooth operational running of Stockton House, including:
    • Welcome visitors and tenants to Stockton House.
    • Provide refreshments and meeting briefs as required.
    • Answer incoming calls and emails, directing them appropriately.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing post.
    • Book and prepare meeting rooms, including arranging catering when required.
    • Monitor and operate access controls (intercom and CCTV).
    • Maintain stock levels for office supplies and welfare items.
    • Ensure high standards are upheld across reception and office areas.
    • Support the scheduling and coordination of routine checks, servicing and inspections at Stockton House, and file completion evidence.
  • Provide administrative support, including:
    • Arrange, book and communicate travel and accommodation arrangements on request.
    • Maintain electronic filing systems.
    • Prepare and proofread internal and external documentation and correspondence.
    • Complete ad hoc administrative requests in a timely manner.
  • Complete compliance administrative tasks as directed.
  • Carry out any other duties that may reasonably be required for this role.
  • Uphold all organisational policies and procedures, including (but not limited to) occupational health and safety, environmental, quality, UK GDPR and HR, setting a professional standard for staff across the Group.

About You

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • A proficient user of Microsoft 365
  • Experience in a customer facing/front of house role
  • A highly professional individual
