Careers
Wigley has come a long way in 60 years. What has remained consistent is the spirit and values of our team. Our values were decided by our staff and reflect their experience of the business – they are something we are incredibly proud of.
We are collaborative, innovative, hard-working, entrepreneurial, professional, reliable, and act with integrity. Together we create value for the business, our people, our partners, customers, and community.
As a family-run business we invest in people and take great pride seeing them grow within our organisation. In 2023, we were listed by Business & Innovation Magazine as one the 100 Great Places to Work.
Training and Development
Training and development – both personal and professional – are a key part of the Wigley ethos. We are firm believers in bringing out the best in our staff and supporting them every step of the way. Our staff benefit from a wide range of training opportunities, which are tailored to suit the individual.
Our team is passionate about giving back and our staff are supported to help us achieve this. This includes being part of the committee for the Wigley Community Fund or helping deliver events for the Wigley Support Fund.
We also proudly support several local events, such as the Warwick Half Marathon, which we encourage our staff to get involved in.
The Working Environment
Wigley is headquartered at Stockton House, a 19th century former manor house in the heart of the Warwickshire countryside. It is a truly unique building which has been lovingly restored to offer modern, comfortable office space surrounded by well-maintained gardens.
The layout of the building and its grounds mean that staff can enjoy a peaceful environment from which to work. Collaboration is incredibly important in the work we do and our facilities are designed to allow us to work together effortlessly.
At Stockton House, our team also have access to The Stampings – our very own on-site coffee shop where staff can enjoy a bean-to-cup coffee over a catch-up or get together for a well-earned drink after a busy week.
Our team is very social, and there is a social committee which is tasked with organising two annual events – our summer and Christmas parties – as well as more informal social activities throughout the year.
