Robert Wigley

Chairman

Robert is Chairman of The Wigley Group, guiding the evolution of the business originally founded by his father in 1964. With decades of experience in the industry, he has established a leading reputation in commercial real estate across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Robert is fully engaged in the day-to-day life of the company, working closely with the Executive Board to shape strategy, drive growth and ensure every business within the portfolio upholds the family’s principles of honesty, integrity and trust. His involvement places him at the heart of decision-making and the ongoing development of the organisation.

He also leads on our major community and charitable initiatives and serves as Co-Chair of the Wigley Community Fund alongside Claire.

James Ellerington

Board Director

James has been part of the Wigley team for over a decade and was appointed as a member of the Executive Board in 2021. He has created and continues to deliver the infrastructure that allows our business to evolve.

With a strong background in operations and risk management, James is responsible for operational planning, leadership and the delivery of the company’s strategy. His work ensures business continuity and delivers long-term growth whilst overseeing all companies owned by the Wigley family.

Alongside Katie, James is Co-Chair of the Wigley Support Fund.

Claire Lynch

Board Director

Claire has been part of the Wigley team since 2016 and was appointed to the Executive Board in 2023.

With extensive experience in compliance, auditing, management systems and people management, Claire leads the companies owned by the Wigley family, overseeing compliance, governance and strategic planning across the group. Her role includes supporting long-term growth, strengthening operational oversight and helping to shape the company’s future direction.

Claire is also Co-Chair of the Wigley Community Fund alongside Robert.

 

Alan Greenway

Head Gardener

Alan joined Wigley in 2006 before being appointed as Head Gardener in January 2021.

Using his extensive skills, experience and an attention detail, Alan is responsible for the Stockton House grounds. From the landscaping design to the overall maintenance of the outside space at Stockton House, Alan takes pride in his work, ensuring that the grounds are always kept to the highest possible.

Chris Parsons

Investment Director

Chris has been part of The Wigley Group team since 2018.

Building on a strong background in operational and property management, Chris began taking a leading role in strategic and investment activities, which led him to the role of Investment Director.

Chris is accountable for the effective and efficient management of the Wigley portfolio and the team which oversees this. As part of his role Chris collaborates with the Executive Board on the future planning and growth of the company and its property portfolio.

Chris is also Managing Director of Virtus Property Services.

David Wilson

Grounds Maintenance Operative

David has been part of the Wigley team since 2010 and is one of our longest-serving colleagues.

He is an integral link between the frontline staff, tenants and management. David is responsible for maintaining the grounds and landscaped areas within our extensive portfolio, alongside assisting the wider team with maintenance works.

 

Emma Biddle

Office Manager

Emma joined Wigley in 2023 and has since progressed to the role of Office Manager.

She oversees operations at Stockton House, Wigley’s head office and home to several professional service businesses. Her varied role includes managing day-to-day office operations, tenant engagement and event delivery.

Emma Spark

Company Secretary

Emma has been part of the Wigley team since 2018. She holds an integral role as Company Secretary for The Wigley Group and all businesses owned by the Wigley family.

Emma is a highly organised, expert administrator and works on behalf of our Executive Board and Shareholders to deliver all business-critical administration as well as an executive communication function. She also plays an important role in administrating critical family matters.

Jamie Grundy

Property Maintenance Operative

Jamie works within our property management team, bringing with him a wealth of skills and experience, including multi-sector management experience. He assesses required works across the portfolio, planning and delivering approved maintenance tasks.

Before Wigley, Jamie spent 15 years working across the UK as a Signalling Installer on the railway, installing and maintaining infrastructure and equipment within strict safety frameworks.

Jenny Lidgard

Receptionist / Administrator

Jenny brings over 26 years of administrative experience across the security and construction industries. She utilises this to support the day‑to‑day running of reception and front‑of‑house operations.

Jenny’s role includes answering the phone, greeting visitors, setting up meeting rooms, taking deliveries, sorting the post and keeping shared areas well stocked and presentable, alongside providing wider administrative support to the team.

Jonathan Wigley

Commercial Drone Pilot

Jonathan joined the family business at 16 and spent several years completing grounds maintenance and landscaping work within our property portfolio. He then moved into the building maintenance team and completed courses in painting, decorating and plastering.

Following this, Jonathan undertook a secondment scheme saw him gain invaluable experience across areas of the business, before providing full-time support to the property team.

Jonathan became our Commercial Drone Pilot after he spotted an opportunity to provide significant value to our business, while also generating income through providing competitive drone services to third parties.

Josh Davenport

Accounts Manager

Part of the team since October 2024, Josh supports the Senior Accounts Manager providing tailored financial input and analysis for The Wigley Group and its businesses.

His eye for detail and hands on approach is valuable to the day-to-day financial operations. He is currently pursuing his CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) qualification.

Katie Wigley-Harris

Operations Manager

Katie joined The Wigley Group in 2020, bringing experience in events management and digital marketing before becoming Operations Manager in 2026.

Katie’s role is varied, and includes management of our IT infrastructure, overseeing communications for all Wigley-owned business, as well as providing practical solutions which keep the company running efficiently.

As a member of the next generation of the Wigley family, she works closely with the Executive Board and Shareholders, playing a growing role in shaping the future of the business and supporting the Senior Team.

Alongside James, she is also Co-Chair of the Wigley Support Fund.

Kevin Dale

Senior Property Manager

Kevin joined the business in 2016 before being appointed as Senior Property Manager in 2022, following an extensive background in the practical delivery of property maintenance.

As a qualified construction site manager, Kevin leads our property management team, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of all projects across our extensive portfolio and through Virtus Property Services to third party clients.

Louis Washington-Smith

Asset Director

Louis has been part of The Wigley Group since 2011 and was appointed Asset Director in January 2022. He is responsible for overseeing the technical and contractual delivery of our asset portfolio.

Louis works in close collaboration with our key partners, and, building on his existing deep knowledge of commercial real estate, he is working towards his RICS accreditation.

Maisie Robinson

Senior Accounts Manager

joined the team in July 2024, bringing with her five years of experience in both private and charity sectors. Leveraging her expertise and skills, Maisie is responsible for overseeing the financial function of The Wigley Group.

She holds an AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting and is currently pursuing her ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) qualification.

Marion Taylor

Administrator

Marion joined the Wigley team in June 2023 with over 20 years of administration and secretarial experience.

Marion oversees operations and provides front-of-house services at our serviced offices in Leamington Spa, 11 Waterloo Place, home to several professional service businesses.

In addition, she is responsible for providing support to the Asset Director and Asset Manager, handling tenant communications, and assisting with a range of day-to-day administrative tasks.

Richard Matthews

Property Manager

Richard became part of the team in 2021, before being appointed Property Manager in 2024.

Utilising his extensive experience in security management and planned and preventative maintenance, he provides daily support to the Senior Property Manager and the property management team, ensuring the seamless delivery of a wide range of services on sites throughout the UK for both The Wigley Group and other property owners.

Suzanne D’Arcy

Asset Manager

Suzanne joined The Wigley Group in 2022 with a background in property and financial services and was appointed Asset Manager in 2024.

Suzanne takes a leading role in supporting the management of our asset portfolio through commercial management of both tenants and supply chain. It is these strong relationships that allow us to maximise return on investment across our portfolio.
